8 Long Months.

Can you believe it's been 8 months? We can :). We feel like we have known each other forever.

We started the day by sleeping in and that was wonderful. We then headed to downtown to check out the Body World Exhibition on Library Square. Little did we know that there would be a protest going on right across the street at the city hall. I was a little nervous to have to walk through all of them in order to get to the exhibit. I thought for sure they would just know that we were members of the church and start yelling at us or something.

The Body World Exhibit was really crowded and we ended up waiting in line forever. The whole time we were waiting in line Braden kept saying, "So everything in here is real right? Like real human parts, right?" I could tell he was really nervous and I couldn't help but laugh at him. Finally we squeezed through the crowds to observe the amazing exhibit. It's basically like someone dissected a lot of humans and put everything inside of them in glass cases. They also have human bodies stripped of their skin and are positioned in different athletic positions to show the muscles. So interesting to me, but Braden was creeped out and maybe a little bit traumatized. He wouldn't look too closely at anything and kept saying, "Okay, that's it right?" He was so funny. It was an amazing experience for me. They showed the human fetus at every step of the growth process. That was the most disturbing part, but still interesting.

It was over and we stepped outside to take it all in. I had to take a picture because Braden's face says it all. I am sure you can guess which one that is. We then decided to go check out the Salt Lake Library. You can't miss it when you drive by, it's a beautiful building. We had never been inside. The whole thing is basically made out of glass, glass walls and glass elevators. We went to the roof, there were gardens and walk ways everywhere. The view was amazing and it was a clear day, which made it even better.

We enjoyed our time on the roof, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view of the snow-cap mountains.

It was an amazing day to celebrate another month of marital bliss.
