a cowboy needs some boots...

they are a little too big right now but it sure is cute watching him try to walk around in them. its as if he is learning to walk again. but he refuses to take them off. my boy is getting so big.

little tid bits about leo:
-obviously still obsessed with toy story.
-he loves to love (snuggle, kisses, hugs, back scratches...etc.).
-speaks in almost complete sentences.
-follows me around the house asking, "What you doing, mommy?"
-he helps out a lot with baby sister, trying to comfort her when she cries, helping with diaper changes and putting her binky in her mouth.
-loves making friends and playing with anyone that is willing.
-the only song he will sing on his own is twinkle, twinkle but he knows a lot more. if i start singing a song and stop he will fill in the word that goes next.
-he loves to make up songs about elephants, buzz, tigers, monkeys...list goes on.
-his favorite animals are elephants. anytime he wants to be a part of a conversation but doesn't know what to say he will ALWAYS say, "Mommy, elephants hiding behind the rocks, flapping ears and flapping tail." this comes from his birthday trip to the zoo. he will never forget that the elephants were hiding when we went to see them.
-he adores daddy's bedtime stories. he lays down in bed and braden tells these funny stories about alligators and lions and sharks and fish. leo cracks up, puts up one finger and says, "One more story, daddy!"
-he's is awesome at his colors. i would say his favorite color is pink. haha
-he can count to 13 but always skips 2! we are working on this.
-his new thing is role playing games. he will run up to me, hand me a toy and say, "Mommy, you be purple car. Let's go to park, purple car! Weeeee!"
-today he was mesmerized watching braden trim the bushes out front from our kitchen window and he goes,"Daddy has a sword!"

he's so fun. keeps us on our toes. laughing all the time. so sweet. our little leo.

Baby Eli

Sweet Baby Eli. He was such a good sport with that annoying stranger that kept moving him right when he got comfortable (that would be me). I had a great time working with lighting and capturing this precious face. Thanks to Eli's wonderful parents, Josh and Jennifer, for letting me invade his world for a little bit!
